Wedding Fingerprint Image: Ideas & Examples

A Fingerprint picture for the wedding is now a real classic. But we still think that’s really great. Not only as an activity for the guests during the wedding celebration, but above all as a memento.

The guests at our wedding were not only enthusiastic about the candy bar, but also about the fingerprint picture. One of the children in particular had a lot of fun. She has been given the task of making sure that every guest leaves a fingerprint on the picture.

What for a fingerprint picture at the wedding?

At our wedding, in addition to the guest book, we also had a fingerprint picture. Here the guests should first press their finger on an ink pad and then their finger on the picture. In addition, write your name with a pen next to the fingerprint.

When all of your guests have left their fingerprints, the picture looks as if, for example, a tree that was previously empty now has a lot of leaves. For another motif, the fingerprints could also be lots of small balloons. The picture is only completed with the prints.

Putting up fingerprint picture at the wedding

If you want to put up a fingerprint picture at the wedding, you don’t have to prepare it too much. Just look for a corner at your location where you might be able to set up an easel. With this you can set up the fingerprint image very well and, above all, visibly.

Important: think of accessories

In addition to your fingerprint picture at the wedding, you should also put a table or something similar. So that your guests can also leave their fingerprints, an ink pad in the color of your choice is necessary. To get the color off your finger later, we recommend you wet wipes, which in turn have to be disposed of in a small waste paper basket.

Buy fingerprint images

Gifted DIY bridal couples can of course paint their very own fingerprint picture for the wedding. It is of course faster and easier to buy a finished fingerprint image. We have selected a few particularly beautiful models for you. We differentiated between images on a canvas and those as posters.

On screen

If you decide on a fingerprint picture on a canvas, you can set it up right at the wedding. Simply place the canvas on a table or use an easel. Of course, it is especially nice if you personalize your fingerprint image.

As a poster

A fingerprint picture as a poster is much cheaper than one on canvas. At our own wedding, we also had our picture as a poster. We packed this in a suitable picture frame and placed it on an easel. Of course, we left the glass in the front so that our guests could leave their fingerprints.

What to do with the finished picture after the wedding?

We found a great place for the finished picture after the wedding. We now have this in our bedroom on a chest of drawers in a picture frame. Of course, you could simply hang your fingerprint picture on the wall or put it on a shelf.
