Linsen datel salad with mango and coriander

Legumes like the lens is one of my absolute favorites in the food sector. There are not only brown mountain lins, but the lens family is enriched with the black beltal lens, the red and yellow lens. In the lentil dattel salad with mango and coriander I used the black beltal lenses. It is ideal for a lentil dish, which demands the bite resistance to the lens.

The lentil data -salad with mango and coriander is refreshing and fruity and fits the hot summer as a grill insert or main course. I developed the recipe on the occasion of my daughter Ina’s wedding. We celebrated the wedding in a luxury chalet called Somewhere Elz Hideaway for a whole weekend with 16 people, a toddler and a dog. I already prepared the salad two days before the festival and the mango and the coriander were neglected on the day of enjoyment.

Linse profile

The lens is one of the biblical foods: Esau sold the rights of his first birth to his brother Jakob for the proverbial lens court. The lens was already considered an “poor people’s meal in antiquity, today the red and black beltal linen career in the star kitchen.

There are also a lot of ballast and minerals in the small mini miracle. In order to complete the essential amino acids, the lens is best enjoyed in combination with the noodle, potato or rice. The Swabian national court lenses with Spätzle is very big in the race, although it has been sympathetic for a long time by so -called experts and gourmets. In addition to German cuisine, the lens also finds a large place in oriental countries.
