The capital of Mallorca is a paradise for foodies! Because in Palma there is not only traditional tapas bars and Spanish cuisine, but also a very impressive variety of international restaurants and cafes. Ready for our favorite restaurants and cafes in Palma de Mallorca? Here we go!
Eating out well in Palma: our favorite restaurants and cafés
Botanic, Carrer del Forn de la Gloria, 14
Our absolute favorite restaurant in Palma: the Botànic in the Hotel Can Bordoy Grand House & Garden with the motto “Green is the new sexy”. Perfect for vegetarians and vegans as vegetables play the leading role in every dish. However, selected dishes with meat and fish are also offered – but these only play a supporting role.
Santina Brunch & More, Carrer d’Annibal, 19
Our brunch favorite for pancakes, really good coffee and co in our favorite part of Santa Catalina. By the way, there is now a second branch, the “Santina Harbor Club” in Puerto Portals.
RIKITO, Carrer de la Fabrica, 25
Also in Santa Catalina is this great restaurant where you can enjoy traditional Italian pizza and pasta in a beautiful setting.
Primo Taqueria, Carrer de la Fabrica, 29
Just a few doors down is the Primo Taqueria, a feel-good Mexican restaurant with the best nachos and a great playlist.
Elephants, Carrer de Dameto, 2
Delicious snacks, great Açaí bowls and many vegetarian/vegan options can be found in the detail-loving Café Elefante.
La Greppia, Passeig de Mallorca, 30
La Greppia has really good Italian cuisine and great value for money. Our favourite: the porcini mushroom risotto.
Cappuccino Grand Café (several locations)
The Cappuccino Grand Café is always a good choice. The cuisine is international and there are several (very nice) locations in Palma, including the hotel of the same name. So simple, but so good: the pumpkin and carrot cream soup!
From Tokyo to Lima, Carrer de Sant Feliu, 1
For one of the most beautiful roof terraces in the city and extraordinary Peruvian-Japanese cuisine, be sure to reserve in good time at De Tokio a Lima in the Hotel Can Alomar!
Can Cera, Carrer de Sant Francesc, 8
You can get delicious tapas and good wine in the unique ambience of an old city palace at the Hotel Can Cera in the heart of the old town.
Rivareno, Placa de la Llotja, 1
And the best ice cream? That’s what Rivareno has to offer. Our favorite combo: chocolate ice cream + mango sorbet!
