Foil potatoes are the hit! Lightning fast in the oven, super tasty and awesome as a side dish or main course with dip.

Oven on 220 degrees top and bottom heat Preheat. Cut 4 squares from aluminum foil to wrap the potatoes.

Wash the potatoes well and pat dry, then prick up the fork several times. Put the potatoes on a piece of aluminum foil each, brush with oil with salt and pepper.
4 large potatoes, 4 TL olive oil, Salt and pepper

How long need foil potatoes?
Foil potatoes are really the easiest in the world. Pierce the tubers with a fork, brush with oil and wrap them into aluminum foil – done. The potatoes are prepared in just 5 minutes, from then on the oven takes over for you. This is just one of many reasons why the recipe belongs to my favorite potato dishes.
Since I bake the potatoes without cooking, it takes about 50 minutesuntil they are and soft on the inside. Depending on how thick and large the tubers are, the cooking time can vary a bit. Incidentally, you can also prepare the recipe on the grill.
Which potatoes for foil potatoes?
I always grab for my oven film potatoes flour -cooking potatoes. This makes the result best because the pulp becomes nice and soft and fluffy. But that is ultimately a matter of taste. In theory, you could also use other types of potatoes for the recipe.
In the supermarket you will find extra thick and large potatoes for barbecue season, which Weigh approx. 350 g per piece. They are particularly suitable.
Which side dish fits foil potatoes?
There is hardly anything that cannot be combined with my oven potato. For me it is a real all -rounder that really always tastes (almost). Whether simply with a dip or together with vegetables and meat – these are my favorite side dishes for the foil potato.
