Fast pizza

If things have to go quickly, but should still be on the table, this recipe is just right. Instead of yeast dough, here Puff pastry used – this saves time and at the same time ensures a wonderful crispy base. The surface is a surprising, hearty mixture Sausage,, Cheese,, Onion and grated applesseasoned with something marjoramthat gives the whole a fine, slightly hearty note.

This combination may sound unusual at first, but results in a wonderfully coherent overall picture when baking: Hearty, spicy and slightly fruity. The apples ensure a pleasant freshness, the cheese connects everything together, and the sausage brings the necessary substance. Perfect for a quick dinner, to take away in the garden or as a hearty snack when there is a visit to the door. In around 30 minutes there is a steaming, filling meal on the table – and without tomato sauce.

And so it is done …

Roll out the puff pastry thinly and thus lay out an unsettled springform pan or flat fireproof shape. Cut the sausage into thin strips, finely dice the onions, roughly grate cheese and prepared apples. Mix the ingredients, season with marjoram and spread them on the dough. Bake in the preheated tube for about 20 minutes over strong heat. Apply immediately. The pizza is also very suitable for guest management.
