If it is supposed to go quickly, but can still taste really goodthen come mine Fast dumplings with burrata how called! She is a real after -work hero, stands on the table in almost 20 minutes and combines two things that I just love: Mault bags & creamy cheese.

And yes, I admit it: I have a deep rooted Pashlaythat comes directly from my Swabian soul. 😍

  3. Vegetable broth, salt, pepper, 1 pinch of sugar
  4. Burrata or Mozzarellaplucked

For the dumplings:

  • 4 El olive oil
  • 1 Onion peeled & finely rolled
  • 2 Cloves peeled & finely rolled
  • 1 Tin Tomato
  • 400 ML chopped or passed tomatoes
  • 100 ML Vegetable broth
  • To season: salt, pepper & 1 pinch of sugar
  • 300 G Mush bags Fooling counter, cut into strips
  • 1 Burrata ball or Mozzarella, plucked

To serve:

  • Fresh basil
  • Some olive oil

Prepare the sauce:

  • Stir in the tomato paste, roast briefly. Then deglaze with the tomatoes and the vegetable broth. Season with salt, pepper and sugar. Bring to the boil.

Let the cheese melt:

  • Add the plucked burrata over it, cover again with the lid and cook for another 5 minutes until the cheese is soft and melting.

Tricky tips:

  1. Spicy conclusion: Spread over freshly grated Parmesan before serving – that brings extra depth and umami!
  2. Think more vegetables? Simply add fine paprika cubes or a Siffritto from celery, carrot & onion into the pan.
  3. Saess too thick? Add a sip more vegetable broth – so you determine the consistency according to your taste.

No matter whether classic with meat, vegetarian or vegan – The only important thing is: good quality. Ideally from the butcher or from the cooling shelf of your supermarket.

2. Can I prepare the court?
Yes! The tomato sauce can be prepared and warm up – Snip your dumplings fresh and Burrata on top.

3. Are there alternatives to the Burrata?
Clear! You can also use mozzarella, ricotta, fresh goat cheese or even a vegan cream cheese alternative.

4. How long does the court last?
In the refrigerator up to 2 days – but honestly: The chances are good that there is nothing left.

5. Does the recipe also work in the oven?
Absolutely! Simply layer everything in a baking dish, top with Burrata and bake at 180 Β° C for about 15 minutes.
